What are chakras?
The chakras run from the base to the crown of your head and are known to be seven. Chakras are part of an energy system that connects the body. Chakra, which in Sanskrit literally means “wheel”, refers to one point within this energy system. Each energy point functions as a wheel that vibrates with energy and spins.
Each of the 7 chakras is associated with a specific color that corresponds to a particular point on the spine. These are the names of the chakras:
Root chakra (muladhara)
Sacral chakra (svadhisthana).
Solar plexus chakra (manipura)
Heart Chakra (anahata)
Throat chakra (vishuddha)
Third eye chakra (ajna).
Crown chakra (sahasrara).
When our chakra energy is out of alignment, it shows physical and mental issues such as fatigue, anxiety, and difficulty concentrating.
Chakra meditation can be described as any meditation that aims to clear blocked chakras or harness the power of the energy centers throughout the body.
What to expect from our guided meditations?
Each meditation of this series is tuned to a specific chakra to help to balance it and create harmony within yourself. These meditations can be used to promote calm and relaxation, as well as to encourage spiritual awakening.
